The love child of two crazy kids from Coney Island.

CONEYLOVE

Why ConeyLove?

I grew up in the Brighton Beach section of Coney Island in Brooklyn - my Grandfather was the keeper at the Coney Island Lighthouse, and my Grandmother ran the concession stand at Surf Lanes bowling alley. My parents met and fell in love in Coney Island. I wouldn't exist were it not for Coney Island and the lighthouse. My Grandfather spend 43 years watching over the people and the shores of Coney Island.

When my brother and I were little, we went to Public School 253 and later to James J. Reynolds Junior High in Sheepshead Bay on Coney Island. We went to Coney Island Day Camp in the summertime. We both grew up all over Coney Island, and it's in our blood.

Now, as an adult I have gone back to Coney and fallen in love with it - from the food and the atmosphere, to the art and the music, the beach and the ocean, and most of all, the people - Dick Zigun, Marie Roberts, Lola Starr, Norman Blake, and so many others.

Coney Island is a wonderful, magical place at the bottom of Brooklyn where people from all walks of life - and all colors, religions, and creeds - come together to have fun.
